Bolavaru Muhammed Khunhi was born in 1951 in a place called Bolavaru in Dakshina Kannada. Several of his story collections like “ atta itta gala sutta muttha”, “devaru rajyagaladalli” went on get good response from all corners of Kannada. He has also contributed immensely to children’s literature with a poetry collection called “tattu chappale putta magu” He has introduced the eternal message of Mahatma Gandhi to Children with his book called “ Paapu Gandhi Bapu Aada kathe” which won the 2010 Kendra Sahitya Academy Award. Girija Lokesh is a well known name in Karnataka and has been active in the performing arts in the fields of theatre, cinema and TV serials. She has acted in innumerable films, plays for the last 45 years. She was given the Rajyotsava Award by the Government of Karnataka in 2013. She has read both the childrens stories
M. D. Pallavi is a known name in the field of Kannada Sugama Sangita. She has played many interesting roles in a couple of Kannada Movies but the major recognition she got throughout Karnataka was through the Kannada Serial Mayamruga for her unique role. Garva is another great serial she has to her credit. She got an award by State for her playback singing, of the song Nodayya Kwaate Lingave, from the movie Duniya. She has also significantly contributed as a theatre artist and some of the popular plays are Hamlet, Manishada, Agni and Male. In the movie Stumble, by Prakash Belavadi, she has worked in scriptwriting and direction departments too. She has narrated two short stories by Na Disoja for us in this audiobook series.
