Bolavaru Muhammed Khunhi was born in 1951 in a place called Bolavaru in Dakshina Kannada. Several of his story collections like “ atta itta gala sutta muttha”, “devaru rajyagaladalli” went on get good response from all corners of Kannada. He has also contributed immensely to children’s literature with a poetry collection called “tattu chappale putta magu” He has introduced the eternal message of Mahatma Gandhi to Children with his book called “ Paapu Gandhi Bapu Aada kathe” which won the 2010 Kendra Sahitya Academy Award.
