He is among those very few koi writers who have taken literature for children seriously and contributed. Among his major novels are Dweepa and Mulugade. He has worked with renowned directors like girish kasaravalli, T S nagabharana, N S Shankar, Nataraj honnavalli, S uresh anagalli, prasanna k, and Praksh babu. He has accompanied popular Hindustani vocalists with his harmonium. Ramakrishna was instrumental in building “ vachana band”. He has also translated a biography of siddalingayya, and a story “apaharana” of krupakar senani to English. His translations are being taught as a syllabus in renowned universities across the world.

Daali Dhananjaya is a popular Kannada Indian film and theatre actor. After acting in a host of theater acts, he made his feature film debut in Director’s Special in 2013. A literary giant KV Puttappa wrote under the pen name Kuvempu. Educator,story teller and poet par excellence. Born in 1904, he served as a chancellor in Mysore university.More than 60 publications under his name he earned doctorates at Mysore, Dharwad, Karnataka and Hubli universities.
